Wanted man tries to swim across Salt Fork Lake while fleeing from authorities

A Cambridge man’s attempt to flee from law enforcement by swimming across a portion of Salt Fork Lake Saturday afternoon came to quick end when he was taken into custody by a Guernsey County sheriff’s deputy and an Ohio Department of Natural Resources officer who used boats to reach the fugitive.
