CALDWELL — Noble County Sheriff Robert Pickenpaugh is warning employees at businesses in the area to be wary of a telephone scam that cost a Woodsfield Road business an undisclosed amount of money Thursday night. “People need to be very cautious of scam calls like these,” Pickenpaugh said. “If it is suspicious or you think it could be a scam, don’t follow the instructions given and notify someone to have it verified or report it to local law enforcement.” […]
