Quarantined inmate makes bid to escape from Noble Co. jail

CALDWELL — A Noble County Jail inmate being quarantined after a medical furlough is facing a potential escape charge after allegedly pushing a corrections officer to the floor before trying to flee through the outdoor recreation area at the facility. The attempt by the 20-year-old Caldwell resident was unsuccessful and he was quickly returned to his cell.
