Ohio minimum wage increasing by 15 cents

The state’s minimum wage increases 15 cents to $8.70 per hour starting Jan. 1. The increase is mandated by a state constitutional amendment, approved by voters in 2006, which annually adjusts the state minimum wage based on the previous year’s inflation rate.
