Ohio couple face charges after dead baby found in a shoe box

HEATH — An Ohio couple is facing charges after a prosecutor said they induced labor and didn’t seek medical attention for the baby, resulting in its death. Kalina V.E. Gillum, 21, of Lexington, and her boyfriend, Braden C. Mull, 25, of Newark, were each indicted Wednesday on charges of involuntary manslaughter, a first-degree felony; endangering children, a third-degree felony; tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony; and abuse of a corpse a fifth-degree felony.
