Man found with homemade explosive in Cambridge home waives hearing

A Marietta Avenue man facing a weapons charge after a homemade explosive device and guns were found inside his Cambridge home last month has waived his right to a preliminary hearing. Charles R. Kennedy, 60, is facing one count of having weapons while under disability, a third-degree felony. On Tuesday, Kennedy waived his right to the preliminary hearing in the Cambridge Municipal Court and the case was bound over to the Guernsey County Common Pleas Court. […]
