CALDWELL — A Noble County man facing an animal cruelty charge after sheriff’s deputies found his malnourished horse at a Pine Lake Road property earlier this year has accepted a negotiated plea agreement. The 61-year-old Caldwell-area resident was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 80 days suspended after pleading no contest to one count of animal cruelty, a second-degree misdemeanor.
