House speaker calls Ohio lawmakers back to 'legally' set new primary date

Ohio’s Republican speaker of the House, Larry Householder, has called on lawmakers to come back to Columbus as soon as possible to set a new date for the primary election.“The Ohio legislature must provide an Act to respond to our local elections officials, precinct workers, candidates and most importantly, Ohio’s voters, that provides clarity and certainty regarding Ohio’s primary election,” Householder wrote in a memo sent to all 99 members.
