Historic Salt Fork Farm to sell at auction

Salt Fork Farm, so named for its proximity to Salt Fork State Park, has remained in the same family since Anna Pyle, widow of William Pyle, purchased the original 105 acres in 1909 for $4,500. After Mrs. Pyle’s death in 1949, the property passed to her six children. Son Earl Pyle acquired full ownership of the land that same year.
