Caldwell coppersmith gains national recognition

Caldwell resident, John Monk developed his interest in metalworking early on.  As a teenager, he learned to tinsmith using antique tools made in the 1800s, which his father had collected. “My father got me started in tinsmithing, but for the most part,” Monk said, “I was initially self-trained.
