A Byesville resident convicted of sexually assaulting a teenage girl last July was sentenced to 17 months in prison Tuesday in the Guernsey County Common Pleas Court. Donald E. Sprouse, 36, previously plead guilty to an amended count of gross sexual imposition, a fourth-degree felony.
