BATESVILLE — Bond for a Sarahsville resident accused of assaulting a man at his Cross Street home in Batesville early Wednesday morning was set at $75,000 with no 10 percent allowed during a hearing in the Noble County Court. Charles A. Carter, 60, faces one count each of aggravated burglary, a first-degree felony, and felonious assault, a second-degree felony, for his role in the alleged attack.
