Assault at Byesville business leads to criminal charge

BYESVILLE — A trial for a Jackson Township resident accused of assaulting a man at a Byesville business Wednesday night has been scheduled for Oct. 9 in the Cambridge Municipal Court. The 47-year-old suspect is facing one count of assault, a first-degree misdemeanor, for allegedly punching a 34-year-old Byesville resident at a Main Street business.
